AMTRAD wants you to know about our personal data collection and treatment practices and policies in a transparent and easy-to-understand manner. Therefore, in accordance with the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data in Private Hands) and Rules,  Amtrad-Traducción, Interpretación y Servicios Relacionados, S.C. (“AMTRAD”), makes its Privacy Notice available to you. 

Who should be interested?

Anyone who visits our offices and web site, users of our internet platforms, our employees and suppliers, individuals who fill our any of our forms or have a commercial or contract relation with AMTRAD.

What information do we collect?

For the purposes listed in the following item, in some cases, we collect personal and identification data,  full name, signature, marital status, occupation, photographs, videos, social security number, blood type, a copy of the person’s official ID, image, birth date, telephone number, home address, tax payer’s address, CURP (Unique Population Registry Code), RFC (Taxpayer’s ID), IP address and/or email, always following the best information security practices and safeguarding your information in Google Workspace Cloud Services and crm.upnify.com.

For what purpose do we collect this information?

To improve your experience when using our website and services. 

For advertising and marketing purposes.

To manage your registration as a platform user. 

For the development, compliance, and execution of the contract that governs our relationship. 

To send notifications about our commercial or contract relations. 

To address your requests.  

To corroborate the veracity of the data provided. 

To understand and respond to your needs. 

To prepare quotations, follow up, and coordinate the services we render. 

To analyze our services and improve its quality. 

To prepare all the legal documents derived from our relationship. 

To comply with applicable legislation. 

For the security of our facilities and visitors.

To recall our communications to prepare quotes, logistics, coordinate events under contract, and to render services as required.

How do we collect this information?

Either personally or directly; that is, we only collect data that you provide or that is captured by our security cameras when you visit our offices. 

Who do we share your data with?

Personal data collected by AMTRAD will be transferred only to the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (Mexican Tax Authority) in tax matters, to our systems suppliers, our legal, accounting, and fiscal consultants, or to comply with authorities.

Can you limit the use or release of your data?

All personal data collected will be treated as strictly confidential and handled with care in our internal communication media and digital administrative tools, which are used to make our services more readily available.

ARCO Rights – What are they and how do I exercise them?

These are your rights to:

Access: learn about your data in our hands, what we use it for, and the conditions under which we use your information.

Rectify: Request corrections to your information in the event it is obsolete, inexact, or incomplete. 

Cancel: Request we delete your information from our data base when you consider it is not being used in accordance with the Law. 

Oppose: Oppose our use of your data for specific purposes.

If you want to exercise your ARCO rights, your title holders or their legal representatives need to send a request to mexico@amtrad.com.mx 

This request must contain the following to be deemed complete: 

Name of the title holder

Address and email address

Establish over what data you wish to exercise your rights. 

The reason or purpose for putting forth this request. 

Copy of an official identification that accredits the identity of the title holder.

Can I prohibit AMTRAD from using my data?

YES

We must point out that there are specific data whose treatment is indispensable to fulfill our contract relationship; therefore, if you decide to prohibit us from using specific data, it might not be possible for us to provide you with our services. 

How do I know if there are changes to your privacy polity?

This privacy policy may undergo modifications, changes or updates derived from new legal requirements, our privacy practices, or other causes. 

We commit to informing you of any changes this privacy notice may undergo. In the event of any change or update to this comprehensive privacy notice, AMTRAD will schedule a notification of such change to users when they log in to www.amtrad.com.mx/aviso-de-privacidad/ and will update the most recent date of the update.
